Art extravaganza!

Join us for our weekly art class led by Sherly Southwick, who also teaches at Eastons Academy Art Museum and Saint Peter and Paul School. You may have encountered some of Sherly’s artwork displayed at various local venues. Here’s what Sherly has to say about her teaching experience at HeartFields: “”One of my greatest joys as a teaching artist is witnessing a new student’s excitement when they discover they can draw! Working with residents at HeartFields truly brightens my day. I often see individuals who are hesitant at first, but then they become thrilled when they give it a try. The ideas I present in each class are merely suggestions, and I’m always delighted to see how each person interprets those ideas in their unique way. There are always wonderful surprises! It’s a joy every time.””
