Fox Ridge Manor is proud to be a food donation drop off point for Helping His Hands during the months of November and December. We know how hard it is around the holidays here at Fox Ridge Manor. The team members here want to make it a little better for someone else. If you would like to participate, donations can be dropped off at the front entrance of the community in the breezeway. There will be a container labeled Helping His Hands Donations. Helping His Hands is an organization committed to serving others with compassion. They offer support during natural disasters like tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods, provide nourishment through their pantry, and build wheelchair ramps for those in need. Together, we have the power to make a meaningful impact on the issue of food insecurity in our community. Food drives are a wonderful opportunity to provide nourishment to those in need and to raise awareness about this important cause. Let us come together and make a difference through collective action.

Five Star of Hollywood is a multi-cultured and diverse community. Many of our resident speak Spanish as their first language. For those, we have arranged a monthly gathering so that they may present videos, movies or listen to music in Spanish and have general conversation.

Mike Almon is a singer-songwriter who plays guitar and writes music. He performs at a variety of venues, including wineries, private parties, festivals, bars, restaurants, and healthcare facilities. Almon's music includes acoustic originals and covers, and spans genres like 60's, 70's, soft rock, new and old country, and top 40. He specializes in soft classic, folk rock, and originals, with some country music. Almon has been playing guitar and writing music since he was 14.
